The sculpture looks like a young woman about to get herself into trouble, about to be "picked up" by an unsavory character. We're told the thief strapped her to an SUV, one of those vehicles that San Franciscans most love to hate. It's too perfect. And why wouldn't he put the statue inside his SUV instead of on top of it?
If it's a hoax, it's clever, and in any case it's fun...

It seems we can never know who kidnapped the poor undiscovered girl. I think someone had a huge crush on her and he simply could not contol his hormones. So he~~~ scooped her up and took her to his love cave. Now I bet poor Tracy has fallen for his spider~man kind of behavior and we shall never see her again.
