Sean ,it looks like your some kind of leader here so did you read that message from one of your disciples about "mobbing for a good cause" .Great idea .You would get a lot more support and recognition .Wasnt comparing all americans to your war mongers.Ill track your progress and if i can see that your gatherings are worthwhile ill try to promote it in Ireland. Or maybe i was right about you lot .Hope not!! Posted by: simple simon on August 7, 2003 01:57 AMThis is leaderless. I'm just reporting on these things; other people are making them happen. Posted by: sean@cheesebikini.com on August 7, 2003 08:46 AMsee philadelpha inquirer 8/7/03 for their story on flashmobs. Posted by: too_rowdy on August 7, 2003 10:31 AMYou may want to read this. He makes some good points. http://incestuousamplification.blog-city.com/read/172377.htm Posted by: Blue Balls on August 7, 2003 09:35 PMAs a Belgian tourist in Amsterdam, there was written on a big wall : Whats up with the lack of alerting about last nights flash mob? Can you let me know when there will be another one? WHat the fuck? Posted by: vinmega on August 8, 2003 08:08 AMWhere is the "flash" in flash mobs. It was supposed to be more spontaneous, now everyone has got the schedules all worked out for days in advance... and worst of all people are starting to try to take this in a political direction... Flash Mobs are over already. Its done, its ruined. its in the ny times now. It will keep going, particularly in Europe, but for those of us from NYC, alas its over. Posted by: e in NYC on August 8, 2003 09:03 AMDear "vinmega:" First of all, which of last night's flash mobs are you talking about? London? Toronto? New York? Others that I'm not even aware of? In order to be notified of a flash mob, you need to either sign up for the announcement list maintained by the organizers of that flash mob, or you need to keep up with Web sites like flashmobs.info, which post announcements about all flash mobs that they find out about. There are literally hundreds of flash mobs being organized all around the world, and as I said twice before in cheesebikini postings, I won't attempt to post all the announcements. Any coverage of flash mobs that I post from now on will just involve the most compelling flash mob news, and not simple publication of invitations. -Sean I just read about flash mobs and all this nonsense you guys are up to. Thanks for restoring my faith in humanity. Where can i sign up? Posted by: Nikorasu on August 8, 2003 10:22 AMoh yeah, about the signing up thing I actually read the rest of the comments and figured it out. hehe...anyways, simple simon remove the stick form out of your ass. i promise you will be less grumpy. then try getting laid. that helps too.
