cheesebikini?

cheesebikini?

feral marketing?

March 27th, 2006

Someone mailed me a wonderful mysterious object. It glows and pulsates red, green, blue. Two now-cancelled postage stamps are attached. It’s painted with my name and address, a funky little face and the phrase “SAVE THE WORD.”

“Save the word?” What could that mean?

If this is part of a marketing scheme, bravo. I’ll bite, I’m spreading the word about who knows what. If the sender is reading this: thanks!

In other news: I think it’s time to resuscitate cheesebikini.

This is so cool! I didn’t think the post-office allowed any creative packaging anymore. They have all these strict rules about where the address is written & not having any other information/stickers/etc on the outside. I’m very impressed. Yay for secret surprise packages.

Yeah, nice new CSS! We should steal it for PlaceSite too 🙂

I once sent an envelope to a friend across the state. I couldn’t remember his address so I just put the city, zip code and then drew a map of the neighborhood with his house X’ed. It got there. Also I once ripped out a page from a surfer magazine and just wrote “Jeff Shore, Yadkinville, NC” on it and it got to his house. Yadkinville has a population of like 3000 I think.

When I first read this I immediately thought of Happy Fun Ball…

“Happy Fun Ball contains a liquid core, which, if exposed due to rupture, should not be touched, inhaled, or looked at.”

I hope you have no such problems!
Just remember: “Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.”
